Terms & Conditions of the Rebench sales platform

General provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the online sales platform created by Rebench sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, Poland ("Rebench") for the purpose of selling used furniture and office equipment belonging to Shiji Poland ("Client").
  2. Sales are conducted by Rebench in its own name but on behalf of the Client.
  3. The platform is available only to Client employees with an active email address in the @shijigroup.com domain (or another domain specified by the Client).
  4. The Terms and Conditions are available on the platform, and each User is required to read them before making a purchase.

Terms and conditions of sale

  1. The items offered for sale ("Items") are used furniture and office equipment.
  2. The sale is occasional and limited in time – offers will only be available during the period indicated on the platform.
  3. The number of items is limited, and sales are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  4. Photos and descriptions of items are for illustrative purposes only – items have been sorted by condition, and representative examples of each condition have been selected for the photos. The actual condition of items may differ from that shown in the photos, and by participating in the auction, you accept this fact.
  5. The items are offered in used condition at preferential prices. Neither Rebench nor the Client provides any warranty or guarantee for defects.

Orders and payments

  1. Purchases can only be made online, via the platform.
  2. Payments are processed electronically through a payment system integrated with the platform provided by Shopify.
  3. After placing an order and making payment, the User will receive an email confirmation of purchase with instructions on how to collect the goods.

Receipt of Items

  1. Ordered Items must be collected in person, at the place and time specified by the Client.
  2. Pickup is only possible upon presentation of proof of purchase.
  3. The user must arrange for the transport of items on their own.
  4. After receiving the Rebench Item, neither the Client nor Rebench will accept returns.

Responsibility

  1. Rebench acts as an organizer and intermediary in online sales. Rebench is not responsible for:
  • actual condition of the Items,
  • any differences between the description/photo and the actual condition,
  • the User's inability to collect the Items for reasons attributable to the User. 

Personal data

  1. The administrator of Users' personal data is Rebench sp. z o.o.
  2. Personal data is processed solely for the purpose of finalizing transactions and handling the sales process.
  3. Detailed information on data processing can be found in the Privacy Policy available on the platform.

Final provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions shall remain in force throughout the entire duration of the sale.
  2. In matters not covered by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
  3. By using the platform and making a purchase, the User confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and accept their provisions.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how personal data of users (“Users”) is processed in connection with the use of the “Office Equipment Resale” platform (“Platform”), operated by Rebench sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw, Poland (“Rebench”).

The data controller is Rebench sp. z o.o., ul. Hoża 86/410, 00-062 Warsaw, Poland.

Data processed

When using the Platform, the following personal data may be processed:

  • name and surname,
  • e-mail address,
  • order details (purchased items, transaction date, amount),
  • payment details (processed securely via Shopify Payments – Rebench does not store card data).

Purposes of processing

Personal data is processed solely for the following purposes:

  • enabling the purchase of items offered on the Platform,
  • processing payments,
  • providing confirmation of purchase and collection instructions,
  • maintaining basic accounting and tax records.

Legal basis

Data is processed on the basis of:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract (purchase),
  • Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting),
  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests of Rebench (ensuring the operation of the Platform).

Data storage

Personal data will be stored only for the duration of the sales event and for the period required by applicable accounting and tax regulations.

Rebench does not store payment card details. All transactions are processed securely by Shopify Payments.

Data recipients

1. Personal data may be shared only with:

  • Shopify, Inc. (provider of the Platform),
  • Shopify Payments (payment operator),
  • entities providing accounting and IT support to Rebench (only where necessary).

2. Data is not transferred outside the EEA, except where Shopify’s infrastructure requires it, in which case appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) are applied.

User rights

1. Users have the right to:

  • access their data,
  • request rectification or deletion,
  • restrict processing,
  • object to processing,
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Latvia: Data State Inspectorate).

Security

All personal data is processed within the Shopify secure ecosystem, which applies technical and organizational measures ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection standards.

Changes

Rebench reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy when required by law or operational needs. The current version is available on the Platform.
